Since the SME Awards of Papua New Guinea launched in 2019, Ela Motors — the nation’s largest automotive dealer — has been a steadfast champion. The company has consistently provided the major prize and, since 2023, has elevated its role as naming‑rights sponsor, delivering financial backing that strengthens the Awards’ reach and impact.

Ela Motors’ commitment represents the largest private‑sector CSO contribution to PNG’s SME ecosystem, underscoring its belief that strong local enterprises are the foundation of national prosperity. Nominations for the 2026 SME Awards officially open on Friday, July 24, and close on Wednesday, September 30. The judging process will take place in October, followed by the prestigious Awards Dinner in November 2026, with final dates confirmed in October.
